ME Production needed our expertise in connection with the installation of a new powder mixing facility at the Port of Gedser and to ensure that the facility was well documented and complied with all applicable regulations in the area.

Results

idoc advised and guided ME Production within the CE marking and the production of documentation for their powder mixing facility consisting of a seawater intake unit, a 50m3 silo, a powder mixer unit located under the silo, a 20' container with storage tank, a circulation pump, and a bunker unit. Our solutions and consultancy have led to ME Production’s facility complying with the applicable regulations, which means that its units can be used and sold within EEA countries.

The project dealt with the machinery directive and standards regarding general machine safety. The facility was manufactured in few components in duplex stainless steel, as it would be in direct contact with seawater - all factors that play a role in the CE marking of facilities. We made sure that the facility was well documented and complied with all applicable regulations.
