ILS derives from military systems, but can with advantage be utilized by all companies or in significant projects. The purpose of applying the concepts of ILS is to create systems that last longer and require less support. Raw data, such as engineering drawings, technical manuals, and the way it is registered and updated is the foundation for planning the design and its support strategy, as they are crucial to ensure operation and maintenance of your products.
