Hoyer strives to eventually automate the production of the bill of materials.
 
We have earlier explained how idoc – Design Engineering & Documentation has supported Hoyer’s product engineering team in the process of standardizing their brake motors. Our consultants have also supported Hoyer’s ambitions within automation by developing methods to standardize or improve effectiveness in handling different types of orders.
 
Our consultant worked with tasks such as implementation in Hoyer’s new ERP system and creating bill of material. 
 
For this purpose, the bill of materials was examined for deficiencies and potential optimization, which required product knowledge, technical understanding, and a dialog between the production and the sales department.
