A big congratulations to our employee, Jonas Stoltze, who has just defended his Ph.D. thesis.

The Ph.D. work was within biomechanics and aimed to improve the treatment of knee osteoarthritis patients by developing a prototype knee brace.

The prototype was evaluated based on both simulated and experimental analyses, which showed promising results regarding reduced knee compressive loads during normal walking.

Jonas has written his impressive Ph.D. while solving different tasks here at idoc – Design Engineering & Documentation, and we are excited to keep following Jonas’s development and see how he’s able to utilize this knowledge in different projects.
